Aka “JoBlaze” is the spirit and creative force behind Dark Rose Entertainment (“Dark Rose”). As the founding member he assembled the skilled team behind Dark Rose to produce and distribute various film and episodic content.

A visionary with the ability to identify unknown talent, he will utilize his well-developed operational skills and guide Dark Rose to unearth scripts and projects, discover new actors, writers and filmmakers to produce quality films and series. Mr. Vazquez is respected as a “no-nonsense” smart business leader who cuts straight to the chase to get things done in a timely on-budget manner.
Wayne Mogél began in the entertainment industry in 1976 with Star Video Entertainment, one of the premiere movie distribution companies in the country, with sales reaching over $350 million a year. For 20 years, he worked his way up through the ranks of the company from Branch Manager to Vice President and ultimately, President/CEO. In 1997, Star Video was sold to Record Distributor Valley Media for $45 million. Since 1997, Mogél has been a principle of Austin Harley Entertainment, which by no means is his definitive role in the music, film, and entertainment industry. Mogél co- founded Street Alien Pictures, a television and film production company. Outside the business front, Mogél served as Vice- Chairman of the Video Software Dealers Association, which represented the $20 billion home entertainment industry, was a
member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the Friars' Club, the NFL and MLB Alumni Associations. Mogél also served on and "The Council of Advisors" through The Gerson Lehrman Group, a leading provider of market research and consulting services to the investment community.
Mogél remains a Renaissance man:
Mogél co-produced the 2004 NFL Players Gala, Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston, Texas, one of the six sanctioned events, which fall under the NFL shield. In 2004 Mogél founded Sports Legends Classic, LLC and formed a partnership with Vanessa Adams of VanAdams Sports Group to produce the Football Legends Series during Super Bowl
week each year producing successful high-end events for the past 7 years. As a principle and founder of Street Alien Pictures, Mogél and partners purchased a license from National Lampoon to produce a series of comedic films. In the summer of 2004, he executive produced the film National Lampoon's "Pledge This" starring Paris Hilton, Simon Rex, Carmen Electra and Randy Spelling, which was released in 2006 through his production company, Street Alien Pictures. In 2007 Mogél became a board member and Chief Operating Officer of 518 Media which is engaged in the acquisition, distribution, finance, and co-production of motion pictures, television programs, DVD, VOD, digital and telephonic media. 518 distributed David Lynch’s “Inland
Empire” as well as most of Werner Herzog’s film library.
Mogél’s career is packed with achievements: Mogél’s career achievements range from running one of the largest movie distribution companies to the representation of Tony Award winning Grammy nominated Super Star Melba Moore for special projects. Mogél executive produced such films as Hip Hop 101: "The Game" and Thunderbox: "Fistful of Dollars" which aired on PPV in 2003, and in 2015 Mogel produced a mixed martial arts PPV live from the Phoenix Zoo during Super Bowl week. Today Mogel serves on the board of advisors of Song Secure a Block Chain Copyright Registry, and is currently working on a few entertainment projects.
Bernard “Bernie” H. Jackson, III is currently winding up his solo legal practice and transitioning to produce various film, television and media content projects. Having graduated from Boston University School of Public Communication, where he focused on becoming a filmmaker, during the past twelve (12) years he collaborated closely with actor yasiin bey (formerly known as “Mos Def”), who was lead actor of two (2) films which opened up number one (#1) U.S. Box Office (“Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Universe”, “16 Blocks”). Throughout his career Bernie has cultivated working relationships in the international film and television industries while maintaining a successful transactional entertainment and media law practice representing artists, actors, social media influencers, media content distributors and film production companies.
Bernie continues to teach undergraduate and graduate courses as an Adjunct Professor at Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He had previously taught at Metropolitan College of New York and Wagner College as an Adjunct Professor.
A former Counsel in the New York office of Dewey & LeBoeuf's Entertainment and Media Group, he worked closely with firm partner L. Londell McMillan, the co-global head of the department. While at Dewey & LeBoeuf he specialized in contract negotiations in all areas of the entertainment and media industry (music, film, television, Internet, etc.) and worked on matters for major corporate clients such as Unilever, various media and entertainment companies including the Harlem Globetrotters and Brand Run DMC, and notable individual clients Michael Jackson, Prince, Teddy Riley, Ciara, Rosie O’Donnell, The Cars, and Lil’ Kim.
After graduation from college Bernie traveled extensively while working for Pan American World Airways A former intern, Jack spent time chasing snow drifts and sunshine as a ski bum in Utah and an events coordinator in Miami before joining before entering law school. Upon graduation from New York Law School, Bernie joined the law firm of Minter & Gay where he dealt with the many facets of the music industry working closely with firm partner, Kendall Minter and counsel Denise Brown representing such clients as Soul II Soul, First Priority Records, MC Lyte, Shabba Ranks and Freedom Williams of C&C Music Factory as well as Spook Productions the production company for Color Me Badd. Later he commenced a solo practice representing clients that included Digital Underground, JOE, Lisette Melendez, Safire and Maxi Priest. While building his solo practice he lent his legal and business expertise as an officer of JDW Entertainment, Inc., a music production company that launched the career of the multi-platinum recording artist Mary J. Blige and oversaw the legal and business affairs for its imprint label/record distribution agreement with RCA Records.
Bernie took a break from the practice of law to work on the cult classic film “3 Strikes” and to participate as a New York City Teaching Fellow. As a NYC Teaching Fellow he acquired a Masters Degree in Education at The City College of New York while teaching Business Law, Constitutional Law, Entrepreneurship and United States History at the Bronx High School for Law, Government and Justice. He has also obtained a Professional Certificate for Film & Television Producing from New York University’s School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies.
Bernie’s appreciation for theater has provided him the opportunity to be a member of the Board of Directors of the prestigious Broadway Dreams Foundation where he serves on the Executive Committee and as the Chairman for its Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Robert is an accomplished entrepreneurial finance executive with a long history of success in establishing effective partnerships and driving planning and execution. Since 1996, he has worked as an independent financial advisor, offering valuable insights and expertise to a diverse range of corporations. In addition to his work in the corporate world, he has applied his financial acumen to the entertainment industry, where he uses his extensive experience to navigate the unique financial challenges and opportunities that this dynamic sector presents.
